ד"ר דיסון ניהל שנים רבות את המעבדה האזורית למחלות עופות בחדרה.
ידיעותיו המקצועיות היו שם דבר בקרב אנשי המקצוע והוא היה מוערך לא מעט בזכות אופיו וידיעותיו הרבות בתחומים שונים. היום, העביר אלי ד"ר יודק'ה פרידמן, מי שזכה לעבוד יחד עם ד"ר דיסון במעבדת חדרה, שיר שנכתב לפני שנים רבות ע"י ד"ר דיסון ומצאתי לנכון לשתף אותו איתכם הקוראים.

the embryo cries
if the shell won't free it,
the poor chick dies.

No cluck from the hen
But mechanical clicks
Frustrate the eggs
and more so the chicks

No feathers to snuggle
No warm mother's plumes
But electrical brooders
and gas heated rooms.

Our chick has no mother
To love her or hate her
But a heartless machine
A hard incubator

Eat natural chickens !
No battery eggs
No Mother less breast
but hen-hatched eggs.

Let's keep our hens happy
Our broilers contented
Our scrambled eggs mixed up
But never demented.

Our rooster too
filled with elation
prefers the natural
to artificial insemination

So be kind to your birds
Your fine feathered friends
Keep them for fowl reasons
Not for your foul ends.
